We understand that booking an apartment in student accommodation is sometimes not an easy decision. We also know that your personal circumstances can change unexpectedly before moving to your new accommodation.
The procedure in the event of cancellation is described in these terms and conditions.
Right of withdrawal
If you have not viewed the apartment before signing the contract, you can cancel the booking in accordance with Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
You[AR7] have the right to cancel your contract with us within fourteen days of the date of conclusion of the contract without giving a reason (the “Withdrawal Period”).
Please inform us of your cancellation in writing (e.g. by post, fax or email) to Uninest Germany GmbH, Adalbertstraße 44-48, 60486 Frankfurt am Main.
Notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal must be made to Yugo within the Withdrawal Period.
Consequences of cancellation within the Withdrawal Period
If you withdraw from your contract within the Withdrawal Period as set out above, we will reimburse you for all amounts you have paid no later than fourteen days after receipt of your withdrawal notification. We will use the same means of payment for this repayment as for the original transaction, unless you expressly make a different agreement with us. We do not charge any fees for this repayment.
If you have already taken-up occupation of the property when you request cancellation of your contract during the Withdrawal Period, you will pay an amount of the total amount of rent payable under the contract which is proportionate to the period of time up to the date on which you give notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal from the contract
