Where is LIU Brooklyn located?

LIU has two main campuses – LIU Post in Brookville and LIU Brooklyn. The latter is located in downtown Brooklyn, at the intersection of Flatbush and DeKalb Avenues and just minutes away from the Barclays Center.

What types of student housing do you offer?

We offer three different types of rooms in Brooklyn:

1. Shared rooms - these are rooms where you share a bedroom with a roommate. Other facilities are also shared with other students.  
2. Private rooms - in this option you have your own bedroom. Depending on the property, your bathroom may be either shared or private. Other facilities are shared with fellow students. 
3. Entire place - here you’ll have it all to yourself. You’ll get a room with your own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, without having to share any facilities with anyone. The perfect choice if you love your privacy!  

Are bills included in the rent?

Bills are included in the rent in most of the properties we list in NYC. Some properties don’t include bills, however, so make sure to check on the individual property page if bills are included.

Are properties fully furnished?

Most of the properties we list in NYC are fully furnished. However, it’s best to check the individual property page to make sure – some landlords have different policies on this, meaning you may have to supply your own furniture.
